Green-Cheeked Conures are an excellent option for a family pet. The birds are small, affectionate, full of personality and relatively quiet.

They demand attention but owners who put in the time playing with them can be rewarded with tricks, cuddles and even a few spoken words.

Male and female Green-Cheeked Conures look the same and tend to grow to about 10 inches. The birds will need a lot of toys and space to move around outside the cage.

Description: Conures are very affectionate and playful. These birds can be a great pet for an entire family if proper handling and training is done. These conures are very active and need the room in a cage to accommodate their activities. They love to swing, play upside down and love to climb around. They eat a variety of seeds, pellets, fruits and vegtables. They also need protein so don't be afraid to give them eggs, chicken or beef but remove it from their cage after an hour.

Customers are advised that Birds are purchased "AS IS" condition. We cannot be held liable for any bird disease or condition. However, we will never knowingly sell a bird in a poor health condition. We recommend that you take your new bird to an avian veterinarian within 48hours of purchase (or 48 hours of receiving your bird). If the examination reveals a pre-existing condition in the bird, we will consider at our discretion, refunding the purchase price, store credit or exchange. A copy of the veterinary record will be required, and all medical bills incurred will be your responsibility.

We cannot exchange or give credit for the following reasons: Change of mind, jealousy (by other pets), allergies (we do sympathize) or lack of allowance of adjustment time fot the bird to its new surroundings. When bird is purchased you will recieve a care sheet explaining the proper acclimation times, the variety of foods, fruits and vegtables to feed your baby. As always our Staff is always a phone call, e-mail or message away for all of your questions and or concerns.

Purchasing your bird from our website you agree to these terms and conditions. If you are purchasing a handfed baby and you are awaiting the arrival we appreciate all of your patience. We can NOT give you an exact date of arrival due to this being a LIVE BIRD. We do not rush the weaning process and ask that you do call into the store to check on your babies as we also will make it an effort to update you on your purchase.
