Emergency Situations

Hurricane Season or other Natural Disasters here we go…..
We want to make sure our customers and feathered friends are protected.

πŸ‘‰We are always open and full stocked with supplies.
πŸ‘‰We are always open for boarding and are here to take care of the birds.
πŸ‘‰The staff at Brenda’s Birds want to make sure everyone takes the proper steps in keeping themselves and their pets safe, here are some helpful suggestions below.

Assemble and place the emergency kit in an easily accessible area ready to go if evacuation is required.

πŸ‘‰Have your pet's carriers assembled and labeled with permanent ink as follows:

🐦Birds Name(s), Owner's Name, Address and Telephone Number
πŸ™‹ Emergency Contact Name and Telephone
πŸ‘©πŸ³Veterinarian's Name, Address and Telephone Number
πŸ₯¦Stock up on your water, food supply and pellets – for at least 2 weeks.
πŸ’‰Any medications or special dietary needs, 1 – 2 week supply. Also have medical records.
πŸ“ΈπŸ₯🐧Take photos of all your pets.
πŸ‘‰Have your travel carrier with food & water bowls and newspaper to line the carrier with.
🧼Disinfectant to clean those carriers with if you are traveling with your babies or to have available at home.
πŸŒ€Don’t wait until the last minute- BE PREPARED.

Be prepared, have a 'go' bag with supplies ready in case you need to move urgently. You dont want to be stuck in lines at the store last minute.

WE ARE ALWAYS HERE FOR BOARDING, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU BRING EXTRA GALLONS OF WATER IN CASE THERE IS A STORM AND WE ARE WITHOUT RUNNING WATER.  LABEL ALL BOTTLE WITH YOUR LAST NAME AND BIRD.

THANK YOU!!
